Can a perpetual licence come to an end?

When it comes to mission critical software, business continuity is top of mind. Many customers can’t afford for use of their software to come to a grinding halt, even if a party decides to terminate the agreement. It’s in these types of situations that customers take some comfort that they have a perpetual licence and will at least be able to continue using the software while they find a replacement.
